Bio

Professor Dan Jiang is a well-respected Consultant ENT and Skull Base Surgeon. He has private practices at London Bridge Hospital, HCA UK at The Shard, The Harley Street Clinic, The Portland Hospital, The London Clinic and Westminster Bridge Consulting Rooms along with NHS bases at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, Evelina London Children Hospital and King’s College Hospital.

Professor Jiang has vast experience in all fields of adult and paediatric ENT and his clinical interests include ear surgery, hearing implants, deafness, dizziness and management of lateral skull base tumours. Professor Jiang was trained in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital, King’s College Hospital and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (Queen Square).

The skilled surgeon completed a prestigious fellowship in Skull Base Surgery and Advanced Neuro-Otology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. Professor Jiang was one of surgeons in Europe pioneered hearing preservation techniques in cochlear implant surgery, he was awarded a PhD following his research into auditory physiology and pathology. He remains involved in research in the field of auditory implants and regeneration of damaged inner ear structures at King’s College London. Professor Jiang is a board member of European Academy of Otology and Neurotology and a Trustee of British Cochlear Implant Group, he was ex Honorary Secretory and Vice President of Otology Section of the Royal Society of Medicine.
